The property is just a 5 miles from Lake Whitingham which has hiking trails that go all the way around the lake. The Same trails become cross country ski and snowmobiling trails in the winter.
In addition, Southern Vermont, with its rolling hills, lush forests, and stunning mountain views hosts The Long Trail, The Appalachian Trail, and Molly Stark State Park. Take a chairlift ride to the top of Mount Snow and hike down in the summer and fall or ski down in the winter and spring. This is hiking and skiing country.
Another great option is to go the Bare Naked Brewery for boutique pizza and a killer view after a lovely hike to the fire towner on Hogback Mountain.
