Kingdom Trails is an association of private network of landowners who allow access to their land for non-motorized mountain and fat biking.

Downhill Mountain and Cross-Country Biking

Burke Mountain Bike Park uses Burke's chairlifts to access their twelve downhill mountain biking and ten cross-country bike trails.

Motorcycle Riding and Auto-Touring

The Northeast Kingdom Byway is a 51 mile route through the towns of Saint Johnsbury, Lyndon, East and West Burke, Westmore, Charlston, Derby, and Newport. See quintessential Vermont villages enjoying cultural sites and dining along the way.

Horseback Riding

D-N-D Stables in East Burke and Lajoie Stables offer guided trail riding. This is a fantastic opportunity to experience the Northeast Kingdom up close.

"This is a slice of heaven!! There is a little nip in the air heralding fall, which made for cozy nights up in the loft. We relished our time here to unplug and enjoy all that the area has to offer. I have been to the Northeast Kingdom many times but had heard little of Lake Willoughby. It is really magical. So rare to find such a beautiful lake with so little development in the surrounding area. Lots more to discover so we will definitely be back. The cabin is so homey with lots of thoughtful touches and the nicest outhouse imaginable!"
